The Fritz Recruiting Days

We offer you much more than an – admittedly very large – warehouse, customers throughout Europe, a family tradition and many trucks.

The “Fritz Recruiting Day 2023” took place on June 30 at our premises at Pfaffenstraße 38 in Heilbronn. Many thanks to everyone who attended for the interesting discussions.

You can meet us here soon:

February 23, 2024: Apprenticeship fair 2024, Frizhalle, Schwaigern
26/27 April 2024: Education fair Heilbronn 2024, redblue event center, Heilbronn

Take a look and find out more!

We offer you a motivated team!

Hello and welcome to the Fritz Group. My name is Wolfram Fritz and I would like to welcome you here as Managing Director of the Fritz Group. The Fritz Group was founded in 1938 as Fritz Spedition by my grandfather Karl Fritz. In 1990, I was finally able to take over the management from my father Heinrich Fritz and the next generation is already in the starting blocks. In 1992 we founded Fritz Logistik GmbH and in the meantime around 640 people are working together to ensure that the engine of Germany’s economy can continue to turn.

The terrible war in Ukraine and its consequences, but also the welcome digitalization, are currently presenting us with new challenges that we want to solve together. If you want to get involved with us, take on challenges and grow with us, then you’ve come to the right place. What I can offer you is a training position in one of the largest medium-sized logistics companies in the region, numerous opportunities and people who are fun to work with. Curious? Then I look forward to getting to know you.

The Fritz Group – much more than a warehouse and a truck.

We can write a lot. Let’s ask our trainees instead:

What do you like about training at the Fritz Group, Denisa?

What I particularly like about the Fritz Group is the good communication between the different departments. It’s inspiring to see how teams work together effectively to achieve common goals. I also appreciate the clear development opportunities that the Fritz Group offers. The support you get here, whether from colleagues or superiors, is really great. It’s especially good to know that you’re working in an environment where you can constantly develop and grow. Another thing I particularly like is the collaboration, where different perspectives come together to solve problems. This open way of working makes it possible to find innovative solutions and overcome challenges effectively. All in all, I think Fritz Group is a great place to further my professional development and make an important contribution.

Why did you choose this apprenticeship, Denisa?

I chose this apprenticeship because you learn a lot of new things and every day is different. Another reason why I chose it is that I can communicate with people and help if there are problems or if someone needs information and I can help. The variety of tasks and the opportunity to help shape, experience and work on different areas myself made me choose this apprenticeship. Training in this area offers me the opportunity to turn my interest into a career and to develop myself further.

What do you like about the training at the Fritz Group, Florian?

“The training to become a specialist in warehouse logistics at the Fritz Group offers me many advantages. Through the hands-on training, I can directly apply my theoretical knowledge. Additionally, I appreciate the opportunity to work in a modern environment with up-to-date technologies and systems. The support from experienced colleagues and clear structures make the learning process easier for me, and regular training sessions promote my professional development. The Fritz Group also places value on a pleasant working atmosphere, which positively impacts teamwork and enriches my day-to-day training experience.”

Why did you choose this training profession, Florian?

“My decision to train as a specialist in warehouse logistics is based on my enthusiasm for the logistics industry. The efficient organization of goods flows has always fascinated me. The prospect of working in a field where practice and theory are perfectly aligned convinced me.”

What do you like about the training at the Fritz Group, Gabi?

I really enjoy working at Fritz, and I learn something new every week. I have a lot of contact with my colleagues, which was important to me when choosing a career, so I don’t just have to stare at a screen. Working in HR administration is very varied, and you’re not put into an ‘apprentice box’—instead, you’re treated as an equal. The other colleagues also treat you as an equal. You’re supported if you don’t understand something, and if you have a question about vocational school, someone takes the time to explain it to you. The Fritz Group also does a lot for us apprentices, with training sessions and seminars. These are very useful for the apprenticeship, vocational school, and even for life in general.

Why did you choose this apprenticeship, Gabi?

After many years in the bakery, I wanted to try something new. I’ve always found HR administration exciting because you get to work closely with employees and customers. Personal contact has always been important to me. Since I always see Fritz’s trucks on the road, I looked online to find out what the Fritz Group offers in terms of training

The Recruiting Day 2022 showed its sunny side.

On June 24th, the day had finally arrived: Under sunshine and in good spirits, we were able to have conversations with interested applicants once again. It once again highlighted how important it is to engage in personal conversations to make the special family-like atmosphere at Fritz tangible to (potential) applicants. Here, you’re not just a number—you’re a person who matters. It’s no surprise, then, that the first job interviews were already scheduled. The delicious smoothies from Barmer rounded off this successful Recruiting Day 2022. To be continued…

“Let’s go. We look forward to hearing from you so we can get to know each other:”
