Container handling
Your goods: Safely on the move worldwide!
International freight transportation would be inconceivable without container loading. Containers are an important link in the transport chain by land and water. Containers account for almost half of global trade.

Safety first!
Applies to all our products and services. But especially for the handling of containers. Increased transport volumes, higher volumes and the resulting ever larger ships harbor corresponding dangers and risks. Even a single incorrectly or inadequately secured container can have catastrophic consequences at sea. That is why we rely on the latest technology, specially and continuously trained personnel and seamless documentation of all processes. It goes without saying that we comply with all internationally applicable guidelines and regulations.
Handling of overseas containers in incoming goods:
- Review of freight documentation (IMO, customs, ADR)
- Inspection and removal of container seals
- Removal of the transport locks in the container
- Unloading the container using suitable tools
- Neutralization and cleaning of the container for further transport (removal of ADR labeling if necessary)
Handling of overseas containers in outgoing goods:
- Extensive inspection of the empty container before loading using a specified checklist (damage, inspection periods, etc.)
- Detailed check of the driver’s suitability (ADR certificate)
- Ground level or stacked loading of hazardous substances in 20 ft and 40 ft containers
- Comprehensive load securing during loading through the use of airbags, straps & lashings and IPPC-treated empty pallets
- Determination of the gross and net weights of the entire container including container, goods and securing materials
- Legally compliant labeling of the container according to the specifications of the goods to be transported
- Checking, completion and handover of container freight documents to the driving personnel (IMO, CMR, customs, etc.)
